Overview
The Plein Environmental Scholarship Fund awards financial assistance to students with demonstrated need who are pursuing an undergraduate degree at a Virginia community college or a Virginia public university. Three scholarships are granted each academic year; each recipient will receive $5,000 applied for the Fall semester (award payments will be sent directly to the recipient’s school).

Overview
- We are offering two distinct scholarships for 2026:
1. Traditional Essay Scholarship — awards range from $3,500 down to $300.
2. The Spirit of Corky Lee Creative Award — a $1,500 prize for applicants who prefer to submit a creative or artistic project in lieu of an essay.
