The Al Christopherson Scholarship and the Paul Stark Memorial Scholarship are generously supported by the Minnesota Foundation for Agriculture, aimed at students who are pursuing agricultural degrees.
Eligibility Criteria
- Membership in the Farm Bureau, either individually or through family affiliation, is required.
- Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited institution and be in their junior or senior year of college, final year of vocational-technical institute, or engaged in graduate studies.
- Enrollment in a program related to agriculture, conservation, or forestry is necessary.
Awarding Process
- The scholarships are granted based on academic achievement, leadership qualities, and interest in agriculture.
- Applicants must submit a creative essay of no more than 500 words, detailing their interest in the fields of agriculture, conservation, or forestry.
- Upon receipt of the end-of-year transcripts for the year in which the award was received (either freshman or sophomore year), the scholarships will be awarded. A minimum GPA of 2.5 must be maintained by the recipients. Once the transcripts are received, the scholarship funds will be disbursed to the recipient.
