Overview RealtyHop offers scholarships totaling up to $2,000 per year to qualifying U.S. students—undergraduate students and graduating high school seniors who plan to pursue a bachelor’s or associate degree. Recipients are chosen based on demonstrated ambition, hard work, leadership, and entrepreneurial drive—qualities that reflect RealtyHop’s company values. Scholarship Prompt Write an essay (under 500 words) answering the following prompt: Imagine yourself ten years after college graduation, living the life you’ve envisioned. On RealtyHop, select a listing you could see yourself living in and describe your favorite room or feature of that property and why it matters to your future. Include a link to the listing. Finalists may be invited to appear on the RealtyHop blog. Who May Apply - Current U.S. students enrolled in an eligible undergraduate program (associate’s or bachelor’s) or high school seniors planning to begin such a program. - Students applying to colleges may apply using the school they currently list or a college to which they are applying. However, if selected you must provide proof of acceptance or enrollment at an eligible institution. Application Requirements - Submit your essay (maximum 500 words) through the Scholarship Application Form by the deadline. - Use your school-issued email address to apply. If your institution does not provide a school email or restricts external email use, you may apply with a personal email address. - If your submission is chosen, you will be required to supply verification of enrollment or acceptance as a PDF (acceptance letter or enrollment documentation). If you cannot produce that documentation by the selection period, please delay applying until you can. Deadlines and Notification - Applications are accepted on a rolling schedule with the same two annual deadlines: - April 30, 11:59pm ET - August 31, 11:59pm ET - Winners are typically notified about 30 days after each deadline. After winners are contacted, all applicants will receive an email informing them of the committee’s decision. Awards and Disbursement - One winner is selected at each deadline (two winners per year), with each recipient receiving a $1,000 scholarship check (totaling up to $2,000 annually across both award cycles). - RealtyHop will confirm the recipient’s school policy regarding external scholarship checks. If a school requires it, the scholarship payment will be issued directly to the school on behalf of the student.
