About the Dye Scholarship
The Cameron and Virginia Dye Scholarship Fund awards college aid to graduates of Arlington Public Schools who plan to enroll in degree programs at accredited universities in the United States. Established by long-time Arlington residents Cameron and Virginia Dye, the fund reflects their commitment to supporting young people. The scholarship is intended to help capable students facing financial need and values academic performance, involvement in school activities, and community service.
Award Details
- Number and amount: In 2026, up to three one-time awards of $5,000 each will be granted.
Eligibility and Application Requirements
- Must be a graduating senior from an Arlington Public high school.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.
- Applicants are required to submit an online application and provide the following documents: a high school transcript, a student financial aid report, and SAT or ACT scores.

- January 12, 2026 — Online application opens
- March 5, 2026 — Application deadline (online)
- June 2026 — Selected recipient(s) will be notified
- August 2026 — Scholarship funds sent directly to recipients’ college or university
