Seth Okin Good Deeds Scholarship

Scholarship Sponsored by Seth Okin Attorney at Law

Value: $1,000
Awards Available: 1
Deadline : Nov 30, 2025 Deadline Estimated

Seth Okin, a dedicated attorney, begins each day with a commitment to protect and uphold the rights of his clients. He is deeply invested in his local Maryland communities, where he both resides and practices law. As a father and an animal enthusiast, he is a vocal advocate against animal cruelty and actively supports initiatives aimed at enhancing the lives of children in his community.

However, in a world teeming with various charities and causes, it can be challenging to determine where to focus our efforts. Should we prioritize curing diseases or preventing them? Should we allocate funds for international disaster relief or combat domestic homelessness? The answers to these significant questions that form the foundation of our philanthropic activities and activist lives are often elusive and complex. It is crucial to maintain an ongoing conversation about what community service entails and how to most effectively allocate our resources and efforts.

Attorney Okin is honored to contribute to this national conversation on community service by reestablishing the Seth Okin Good Deeds Scholarship. The recipient of this scholarship will receive $1,000 to support their educational pursuits, with the ultimate goal of leading a life dedicated to serving others.
