About the 2026 Come Back Stronger Scholarship
We are pleased to offer the Come Back Stronger Scholarship for 2026. One student will receive a $1,000 award. Eligible students are encouraged to apply by the deadline of July 15, 2026. Details on applying follow.

Eligibility
- Open to U.S. legal residents who live in one of the 50 states or the District of Columbia and who are enrolled in a vocational program or a two- to four-year post-secondary institution. Eligible applicants include current high school seniors, vocational students, undergraduate students, and graduate students.
- Employees of Fasig | Brooks Law Offices, their immediate family members (parent, child, sibling, spouse), and anyone living in the same household as such employees (related or not) are not eligible.
- Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 and be in good academic standing.

Application requirements
- Submit all materials using the form below.
- Essay: a 750–1,000 word personal essay addressing the prompt: Describe a life-altering challenge you have faced (for example, an injury, illness, the loss of a loved one, or another major event). Explain what you learned from confronting this challenge and how you overcame it.
- Essays will be screened for AI-generated content. Applications found to contain AI-written material will be disqualified.
- Resume: provide a professional résumé that outlines academic and work-related experience.
- Transcript: include a transcript from your current school. First-year college students, graduate students, or recent transfers may submit an unofficial transcript from their current institution plus the most recent official transcript from any prior school. High school seniors may submit proof of acceptance to a college or university.
- Preference will be given to applicants who are from Florida or who attend secondary school in Florida.
