General Scholarship Applications - Book Awards

We are accepting general scholarship applications for Book Awards. Second, Third- and Fourth-year students submitting applications by February 1 will be eligible for book awards given in the spring of the same year.

Applicants are considered to be from New England if they graduated from a public high school located in one of the New England states (Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, or Vermont), or if they were a resident of a New England state for 5 continuous years preceding the date of admission to veterinary school.

pplications cannot be submitted electronically at this time.

If the applicant did not graduate from a high school in New England, she/he must supply a list of her/his home (legal residence) addresses for the 5 years preceding matriculation into veterinary school.  All applications must also be signed by a New England veterinarian who knows the applicant.  A New England veterinarian is defined as one who lives in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island or Vermont.

An appropriate person at the applicant's veterinary school (e.g., registrar or dean of students) must sign the application to verify that the applicant is in good standing at the time of application.
