Introduction
The Fisher Cats Foundation will continue its support of college-bound young people through the Fisher Cats Foundation Scholar-Athlete Scholarships. In 2026 the Foundation will award ten (10) scholarships of $2,500 each to graduating high school seniors who are residents of New Hampshire. Awards are funded through the Arthur P. Solomon Scholarship Fund.
Eligibility and selection
- Applicants must be high school seniors and New Hampshire residents.
- Recipients will be chosen based on a combination of academic performance, athletic accomplishments, and demonstrated commitment to their communities.
Required application materials
To complete your application, you must submit the following items:
1. Statement of Commitment (Academic)
- A school counselor must provide an academic statement that addresses your scholastic record. Ask your counselor to use the scholarship’s designated link to report your most recent class rank.
2. Two references
- Supply the full name, telephone number, and email address for two references (examples: coaches, teachers, supervisors). Note: parents are not permitted to serve as references.
3. Video response
- Upload a 2–3 minute video in mp4 or .mov format responding to the prompt: How has participation in high school athletics shaped your life?
All materials must be received for an application to be considered complete.
