Rehoboth Antiquarian Society Scholarship
Overview
The Rehoboth Antiquarian Society (RAS) will award scholarship support to one or more students who have been accepted to or are enrolled in a post–secondary program focused on museum or library-related fields. Eligible areas include, but are not limited to, museum or library science, history, archaeology, anthropology, conservation, restoration, and preservation. Programs outside the traditional academic path may be reviewed and approved at the Committee’s discretion.
Who may apply
- Residents of Rehoboth and nearby communities, or candidates who have a demonstrable, significant connection to Rehoboth, are encouraged to submit applications.
Use of funds
- Scholarship funds will be applied toward the second semester of the 2026–2027 academic year.
- The RAS award is a one-time grant of up to $2,000.

Deadlines and timeline
- Completed applications must be received by Friday, June 19, 2026.
- The Scholarship Committee plans to conduct in-person interviews during the final week of June. If attending an in-person interview would cause hardship, please notify the Committee; accommodations will be made where possible.
- Applicants will be notified of the Scholarship Committee’s decision by August 31, 2026.
