Delaware FFA Foundation Scholarships

Purpose
The Delaware FFA Foundation Scholarship exists to offer financial aid to Delaware students who are studying agriculture and plan to continue their education at the secondary level.
Available Scholarships
Your application may be considered for one of the two scholarship categories below:
- Delaware FFA Foundation, Inc. Scholarship: Awards made for the fall semester to students pursuing postsecondary education in any field or major. The number and amount of awards will be determined by Foundation fundraising and available funds.
- The Dr. Karen C. Hutchison Scholarship: Awards made for the fall semester to students who are majoring in agricultural education.
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for consideration applicants must meet all of the following:
- School status: Be a graduating high school senior or a collegiate FFA member, and have attended (or currently attend) a Delaware high school that offers an agriscience pathway.
- Previous award limits: Recipients of the Delaware FFA Foundation Scholarship may receive the award one additional time (i.e., up to two total awards). Recipients of the Dr. Karen C. Hutchison Scholarship are eligible for the award only once.
- Grade point average: Have a minimum 3.0 GPA at your current school. An official transcript must be submitted as proof.
- College acceptance/enrollment: Be accepted to or currently enrolled in a secondary educational institution. Provide documentation showing acceptance or enrollment that includes the institution’s name and address.
- Character and involvement: Demonstrate good character and be an active member of your FFA chapter.
Submit all required documentation to verify GPA, school attendance/acceptance, and FFA membership when applying.
