Eligibility
Applicants must meet specific academic and residency requirements to be considered. Eligibility is limited to undergraduate students enrolled at accredited U.S. colleges or universities who will continue their education through at least Spring 2027. Applicants must be U.S. citizens and at least 18 years old. A minimum cumulative GPA is required to demonstrate academic standing.

How to Apply
Applications require a brief video response and standard enrollment documentation. Submit a 3–5 minute video addressing the scholarship prompt, and include proof of enrollment or acceptance and documentation of your GPA. Only one submission per applicant is permitted. Follow any additional submission instructions provided by the scholarship administrator.

Judging Criteria
A selection committee will evaluate submissions and choose the recipient based on the strength and clarity of the applicant's narrative. The committee emphasizes a compelling personal story that demonstrates how the applicant overcame the odds. Clear organization and effective communication in the video are important. Reflection on lessons learned and growth after the experience will be weighed heavily.

Award and Timeline
The scholarship provides a $1,000 award to one student per semester to offset educational expenses. The award may be applied toward tuition, room and board, class materials, and other qualifying educational costs. Applicants for Spring 2027 will be considered for the upcoming semester, and winners will be notified according to the program timeline. Recipients must agree to limited promotional use of their name, likeness, and submission as part of the award terms.

Elite Lawyer created the scholarship to honor underdogs and those who achieve success against long odds. The award is intended as a recurring recognition of grit and determination among undergraduate students. It aims to celebrate personal resilience and support continued academic progress.
