Overview
Each year SLEMCO awards $40,000 in college scholarships. Twenty winners receive $2,000 apiece. These scholarships are distributed by random drawing and are available to SLEMCO members for themselves or for their dependent children.
2025 status and 2026 timeline
The application period and selection process for the 2025 scholarships have concluded. The next application cycle opens on February 1, 2026. Applications will be accepted from February 1, 2026 through May (2026). All applicants—or the SLEMCO member who sponsors them—must attend the annual meeting scheduled for June 13, 2026.

A total of nine scholarships are awarded each year: one winner from each of the eight TBGA regions plus a single statewide top scholarship. Applicants must be pursuing majors in agriculture and/or natural resources.
Who may apply
